Roadworks using vacuum excavation

With a busy road junction in Lancashire causing commuter chaos, plans were drawn up to widen the road to help ease congestion.

Scale drawings identified gas lines located where the road would be extended, so we were called in to provide vacuum excavation assistance.

Our operator worked with the contractor to unearth the gas lines so they could be disconnected and relocated under the new pavement, a safe distance from the new road layout.

Material excavated was stored onsite to reuse once new road infrastructure was completed.
