With the largest Vacuum Excavation hire fleet in the United Kingdom, the PIER (UK) team have focused on the achievements that have come their way courtesy of hard work, dedication and determination throughout the past 12 months.
In May, our team received two wonderful pieces of news. Firstly, we were audited by Achilles for UVDB B2 and secondly, we successfully produced a 100% score in both Health & Safety and Environmental, which our Health & Safety Advisor worked extremely hard to achieve with the team.
During the month of October, Sean Quinn, the Managing Director of PIER (UK) invited the MTS Sales Director and the arrival of our new, special edition Gold Vacuum Excavator to site. This vehicle marks the 1,000th Excavator that the MTS team have produced and we are truly honoured to have it within our expanding fleet.
2020 has also been a fantastic year for our Head Office team as PIER (UK) have introduced several new members to our ever-growing team and we are looking forward to seeing many more fresh faces next year. Our team of Vacuum Excavator workers have been continually non-stop, up and down the country working on projects in a variation of places such as Scotland, sunny Manchester and many, many more.
“This year has been a real challenge, but with our trusted Vacuum Excavation experts, we managed to assist our customers up and down the country, no matter the time of day. Our team have been nothing short of exceptional.”
– Operation Supervisor.
To end the year on a high, December 23rd marks the 12th year from which we received our very first Vacuum Excavation truck and ever since, we haven’t looked back. PIER (UK) now have in excess 50 trucks within their fleet and it doesn’t stop there. On the anniversary of our very first truck today, we have received another nice new one and 2 more due in the early weeks of January along with many more throughout 2021.
“2020 is definitely going to be a year to remember for many reasons. We started off with planned deliveries of new asset to grow our fleet. This came with the need for additional operators, office staff and management. The biggest memory for everyone is of course Covid-19. It will be 12 years ago today when we received our first truck. Never will it be forgotten. On a positive note, after a 10-week slow down, we returned fighting fit and utilisation reached an all time high. We got back on track receiving deliveries of new asset and recruiting additional staff.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our staff for their hard work throughout 2020 and look forward to meeting you with new challenges throughout 2021 to fulfil our growth plan and maintain our status as the largest provider of Vacuum Excavation systems in the UK to which I do hope you all are proud to be part of.
Our success is driven by the demand of our loyal customers. Thank you for your business throughout 2020. I hope you all can see that we are passionate about the service we provide and continue to build a good working relationship throughout 2021.”
– Sean Quinn, Managing Director.
