When new ductwork and cables were needed in Renfrewshire, our vacuum excavation expertise was called on to safely complete the works.
The job entailed lifting up type 2 roads and pavements, then digging to a depth of around 700mm to accommodate the new cables. As plans showed existing gas, electric and telecom lines, a no-dig vacuum excavation approach was requested to safely remove ground material without risking damage or service strikes.
With the help of an air lance, all ground materials were swiftly excavated to provide engineers with the much needed access to install new lines.
