What is the Tracked-Vac?
The Tracked-Vac is the very first Vacuum Excavator of its kind in the UK. Designed specially for use on off-road terrain such as the beach, the Vacuum Excavator’s unique tracked design allows it to travel over almost any terrain, making it the perfect choice for excavation work in tricky locations.
How does the off-road excavator work?
The Tracked Vac works in the exact same way as the other Suction Excavators. With a remote-control suction arm, the operator can excavate the area around buried services quickly and safely, without the need for mechanical diggers. The excavated earth is then stored in an inbuilt chamber, ready to be disposed of.
What are the capabilities of the Tracked-Vac?
With many of the same features as the popular DINO 3, the Tracked-Vac can excavate up to 2m3 per hour and the spoil container can hold up to 10 tonnes. The remote-control arm has an operating distance of 3.5m and can work at depths of up to 5 metres, with the standard on pipework on board.
How do I know if I should hire the Tracked-Vac?
The Tracked-Vac has been designed specifically with off-road Vacuum Excavation in mind and would be most suited to excavation work in fields, building sites without hard standing, the bench, forests etc.
