A Pink Truck with a Purpose

Since February, Pier’s pink vacuum excavation truck has been travelling up and down the UK, helping customers complete their projects while raising money for cancer charities.

The initiative gave customers the opportunity to support a worthwhile cause simply by requesting the pink vacuum excavation vehicle for their work. Every job helped contribute towards Pier’s fundraising target of £10,000.

Combining our specialist vacuum excavation services with a fundraising initiative close to many people’s hearts, the campaign demonstrated how everyday work across the construction and infrastructure industries could help make a difference beyond the job site.

Reaching a Fundraising Milestone

April proved to be the campaign’s strongest month yet, with the pink vacuum excavation truck raising an impressive £874.

This brought the total raised since February to £2,394,  almost a quarter of the £10,000 target.

It was a fantastic milestone for the campaign and a great example of what can be achieved when customers get behind an initiative with a shared purpose.

Thank You to Our Customers

We would like to extend a huge thank you to all our customers who specifically requested the pink vacuum excavation truck for their projects.

Their support helped turn a specialist piece of excavation equipment into a fundraising vehicle, contributing towards efforts to fight cancer.

At Pier, we’re proud to support initiatives that make a positive difference, both through the work we carry out and the relationships we build with our customers.

As the industry leaders in Vacuum Excavation, PIER (UK) will listen carefully to their customers’ requirements and provide a solution that is suitable for the job at hand.
