Throughout the past 12 years, PIER (UK) have focused on the many applications for Vacuum Excavation and as a result, the team have introduced a significant expansion into their fleet.

With over 50 Vacuum Excavation units, PIER (UK) can provide a choice of systems ranging from the 26-32tonne standard trucks, the 12-16tonne Citysucker and the unique 20tonne off-road Tracked-Vac unit. PIER (UK) pride themselves on listening to their customer’s needs and requirements before providing them with a reliable and trusted solution. With additional growth planned across all the sectors of the product range, PIER (UK) aim to maintain their place at the very top of the Vacuum Excavation industry.

The MTS Manufactured Tracked Dino System (Tracked-Vac) has been designed and built by the MTS longstanding partners at MTS Germany, with the off-road access being at the forefront of the requirements without losing any of the 44,00m3/h suction power.

The Tracked-Vac possesses all the same features of the 26tonne system, with 3-speed fans, various sized suction nozzles and tooling to accommodate narrow excavations and openings, as well as the same self-cleaning filter system that reduces small particles being discharged into the atmosphere.

When operating the Tracked-Vac, there is no requirement to create a haul road for access to the proposed excavation or even the need to install the use of mats. Due to the 600 mm wide steel tracks and the system’s all-terrain ability, the hydro-statically driven unit can negotiate the toughest terrains.

As the industry leaders in Vacuum Excavation, PIER (UK) will listen carefully to their customers’ requirements and provide a solution that is suitable for the job at hand.
